Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the LiveList app and related services (the “Service”) provided by Lofotind AS (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using LiveList, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
LiveList is a real-time shared list application. You can create and edit generic lists with friends, add items (including photos and links), use tags and history, send invite links, receive notifications and reminders, and optionally subscribe to LiveList Plus. Features may change as we improve the product.
2. Accounts
- You must sign in with Apple or Google to use the Service.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Keep your sign-in method secure and provide accurate profile information you choose to show.
- You may delete your account in the app (Settings → Privacy → Delete account). See the Privacy policy for what deletion covers.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- upload content you do not have the right to share
- attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law
- impersonate others or misuse invite links
- probe or abuse other users’ profiles beyond normal friends/sharing use
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms are violated.
4. Your content and sharing
You retain ownership of content you create (lists, items, photos, links). You grant us a limited licence to host, sync, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and people you share with. Shared list members may see and edit content according to the app’s sharing model. Friends and people you invite may see your basic profile information as shown in the app.
5. LiveList Plus and payments
Paid subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and taxes are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. We use RevenueCat to sync entitlement status to your LiveList account. We do not store your full payment card details. Restoring purchases is available in the app where supported. Cancel Plus in the store account that purchased it.
6. Intellectual property
LiveList, including the name, branding, and app software (excluding your content), belongs to Lofotind AS or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. LiveList is a convenience tool for shared lists; you are responsible for how you rely on list data.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Norwegian law, Lofotind AS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
9. Privacy
How we process personal data is described in our Privacy policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above when we do. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes shall be brought before the ordinary courts of Norway, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence require otherwise.
